The Knoxville Ice Bears are proud to call Knoxville home, thus we strive to be a good community organization. Our players, mascots and staff members are dedicated to giving back to the Knoxville community. Check out our calendar of events for upcoming community appearances!

 

 

Ice Bears players and GM Mike Murray shaved their heads to support the Ice Bears team mom, Brenda Cox, in her fight against cancer.

 

Chilly, Nippy, and the rest of the Ice Bears enjoyed a weekend in Nashville for the first exhibition game at Bridgestone Arena.

 

The Ice Bears showed off their trendier side during Knoxville Fashion Week!

 

Fundraisers throughout the season, such as Pink in the Rink, raised money for local charities.

 

The Ice Bears staff and fans had one of the largest teams in the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure which raised money for breast cancer awareness!

The 2012 Ice Bears Charity Classic raised money for scholarships to send 3 young hockey players through the KAHA youth hockey program!

 

Coach Mike Craigen threw out the first pitch at the Tennessee Smokies game during Ice Bears Night with the Smokies!
