Ice Bears capture first place in the Fourth Annual Chili Cook Off.....

November 8, 2009 - The Knoxville Ice Bears have participated in the 4th Annual East Tennessee Chili Cook Off and brought home a first place. Ice Bears staff, Booster Club members and Hunnies were selected from 31 participates from all of the United States from a panel of judges from Second Harvest Food Banks of East Tennessee.

Recipe was created by Jody and Loretta Cravens of the Ice Bears Booster Club for the Knoxville Ice Bears and ingredients were from Ice Bears' partners Food City and Wampler's Sausage provide for the winning blend.

The Ice Bears have participated each year of the East Tennessee Chili Cook Off and placed third the first year of the event.
