Hat trick for Kevin Swider goes for naught, 4-3

Mike Craigen predicted prior to the Knoxville Ice Bears’ Southern Professional Hockey League game against the Columbus Cottonmouths that the Ice Bears would score two power-play goals.
Knoxville’s coach was right. But it didn’t matter, as host Columbus scored a 4-3, overtime victory.
Knoxville got three goals from captain Kevin Swider, two on the power play, and forced overtime with a goal with 12 seconds remaining in regulation.
