Ice Bears defeat FireAntz

Hockey talent of the past and present was featured tonight at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum during the Knoxville Ice Bears Legends Night. The doors opened early, and many fans came to watch Knoxville hockey legends from the Knights, Cherokees, Speed and Ice Bears take on the current University of Tennessee team. The game was decided in a shootout, and UT won 5-4.
The Ice Bears took on the Fayetteville FireAntz following the legends game. Knoxville forward Chris Rebernik got off to a strong start in his first game back off the injured reserved list. He scored the first goal of the night, which was assisted by Justin Keller and J.J. Wrobel. B.J. Pelkey, Shaun Norrie and Derek Pallardy also put points on the board for Knoxville in front of one of the biggest crowds of the season. 4,483 fans came out to cheer on their hometown champions.
