The Knoxville Ice Bears released Kyle Lundale on Monday. The rookie defenseman has two assists in 10 games and was a plus-4.

Forward Caleb Moffat, who is close to coming off injured reserve, is expected to take his place on the roster.

Forward Chris Rebernik, who has five goals in his last four games, had a MRI on his injured knee and Ice Bears general manager Mike Murray expects to find out the results today before the Southern Professional Hockey League team practices at 3 today Civic Coliseum.

The late practice was necessary this week because work is being done on the scoreboards.

The Ice Bears (10-3-1) are six points behind first-place Huntsville but have played four fewer games than the Havoc.

Knoxville's next game is Friday at Huntsville.
