Knoxville Ice Bears win two out of three

The Knoxville Ice Bears started out a three-game stint strong with a win on the road then at home versus the Twin City Cyclones; however, the Huntsville Havoc defeated the Ice Bears tonight 7-3. The Havoc win was made possible mostly by the play of Travis Kauffeldt who scored three goals and had one assist. Row, Cooke, Kubaliak and Stanfield scored for Huntsville.

            Points and assists, as well as playing time were spread among the Ice Bears. Swider, Wrobel and Moore all put points on the board and were assisted by Vitek, Van Vliet and Martell.

            Knoxville is set to play a Christmas day game in Columbus and then return home to play back-to-back home games on December 26 and 27.
