Ring experience pays in the rink

Knoxville Ice Bears forward David Segal drops his gloves, skates into his boxer's stance, and begins a flurry of right crosses and left jabs.

Warning to other guy: Segal was a boxer as a teenager in Vancouver, Canada.

Segal, 25, likes his chances whenever he squares off against another player in the Southern Professional Hockey League. After all, what boxer enters a ring/rink thinking he's going to lose a fight?
