July 8, 2010 – The Knoxville Ice Bears today announced the release of the 2010-2011 regular season schedule.   With the addition of an eighth team, Augusta River Hawks, the Ice Bears will play a slightly more balanced schedule with a concentration on more of the traditional rivals.

All home games will be played at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum with start times at 7:30 p.m. with the exception of Sundays being played at 5:00 p.m.

Opening night will be on Friday, October 22nd where the Ice Bears will host rival Fayetteville.  Prior to the home opener, the Ice Bears will hold their only exhibition game on Saturday October 16th with a team that is yet to be announced.

Notable upcoming promotes will be the annual Wiener Dog Races schedule for November 26th, 2010 and February 12th, 2011.  Another key promotion to check out is the recently popular Guaranteed Fight Night on December 18th, 2010.
