KNOXVILLE, TN – Knoxville Ice Bears Kevin Swider and Jeremy Klaver return to Knoxville after helping the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL earn a point in their standings.
Swider scored the game tying goal at 7:02 of the third period off a shot he banked off the Greenville Road Warriors goalie’s stick from behind the net. Swider’s goal was the marker that forced the game into extra time and a shootout where the Road Warriors prevailed in a shootout.
Klaver provided valuable support on the blue line for the Cyclones in his first call up. The Ice Bears defenseman finished the game with a +1 in his debut.
Both players have returned to Knoxville as the team heads to Augusta for tonight’s game against the league leading RiverHawks at 7:35 pm at James Brown Arena.
Join the Ice Bears faithful as they enjoy the road broadcast at Buffalo Wild Wings at Turkey Creek, the official viewing location for all Ice Bears road games. The game can also be heard live through the Knoxville Ice Bears flagship station Tennessee Sports Radio 1180 am or www.tnsportsradio.com .
