Van Vliets goal lifts Ice Bears in OT, 4-3

Mark Van Vliet scored 4 minutes, 59 seconds into overtime to give the Knoxville Ice Bears a 4-3 victory over the Mississippi RiverKings on Friday night in Southaven, Miss.

Van Vliet scored against David Wilson on an assist from Kevin Swider and Emery Olauson.

Mark Magnowski tied the game at 3-3 for the RiverKings (4-7) on a power play 11:58 into the third period.
