The Knoxville Ice Bears have signed Blake Tosto for the 2026-27 season. The upcoming year will be Tosto’s third in the SPHL and second as an Ice Bear after signing with the team last offseason. The Bloomfield Hills, Mich. native is coming off a career-best 30 points last season in his maiden year in Knoxville while also making his ECHL debut.

Tosto scored 12 goals and added 18 assists in his first year in Knoxville and added a pair of goals in Knoxville’s playoff run to the President’s Cup semifinals. He appeared in two ECHL games for Cincinnati, scoring his first career ECHL goal. He played 39 games as a rookie for Pensacola in 2024-25, scoring ten goals and adding 12 assists.

Tosto competed collegiately at Lebanon Valley College for four seasons and served as team captain his senior season. He totaled 26 points in 25 games during his final year and was an All-Conference selection in 2024.

The Ice Bears open their 25th anniversary season Friday, October 16 at home against Evansville at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.
