Ice Bears defenseman Andrew McLean has been loaned to the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. McLean has appeared in three games for Knoxville this season, scoring one goal. The Solar Bears next play the Norfolk Admirals on Thursday.
In addition, the Ice Bears have signed defenseman Sam Turner. Turner has appeared in two games this season with the Binghamton Black Bears of the FPHL, making one assist. He played collegiately for the ACHA team at Robert Morris University before making 29 appearances with the Danville Dashers in 2019-20.
Knoxville will host the Fayetteville Marksmen on Friday night before heading back to Fayetteville to round out a three-game weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
